I'm Chris. I live in Brooklyn. I like craft beer, geography, travel, hiking, biking, news media, and a lot of random things that are mostly of little or no consequence.

To get by, I work in advertising. I also host craft beer tastings.

I write about Rhode Island a lot, too, because I grew up there.

Authorities say the billboard, which is 200 x 300 feet, came down due to those high winds

Yeah, no, sorry, try again. That’s a standard-size billboard. It’s 14 feet x 48 feet.

Seriously, do they even read what they write? That billboard is the size of the fire truck near it. Is a fire truck the length of a football field? Because that’s what 300 feet is.
