WHAT. That happened?

Yup, and not just once, but quite regularly at the 34th-Herald Square Station. An N or Q pulls up on the express track, dwells in the station for one, two, sometimes three minutes, then an N or R comes in on the local track, opens its doors, also dwells in the station, but then leaves first.

Even worse, most conductors - including the one this morning - don’t even bother telling passengers that the train across the platform is leaving first. I mean, it’s not like we didn’t have plenty of time to cross the platform.
