82 degrees in here. This is fucking ridiculous.
Why isn’t there outrage in the environmental community and a citywide movement for this insanity to stop? Every single commercial high-rise I’ve worked in in this city has been kept at well above what’s considered “room temperature.” Usually, it’s been between 77 and 80. Hell, if they lowered the temperature in here by even just 2 degrees, I imagine we’d save a boatload on energy costs.
But instead, I can’t even wear a sweater to work because I’d be sweating all day. And I can’t even drink hot coffee. Not that I mind… I like iced coffee more. But it’s the principle of it, you know?
