I'm Chris. I live in Brooklyn. I like craft beer, geography, travel, hiking, biking, news media, and a lot of random things that are mostly of little or no consequence.

To get by, I work in advertising. I also host craft beer tastings.

I write about Rhode Island a lot, too, because I grew up there.

The Pizza Shop on Avenue A closed. Call it an abomination, but they cooked up the best buffalo chicken pizza I’ve ever had.

Also, Singa’s on 2nd Avenue had its windows papered over when I walked by this morning.

Some people say these places closed because of the weak economy. Others claim it might have been high rents. One expert says that pizza is bad for you.
